On arrival at the
front of the hotel
The front
of the hotel is on the town's one-way system. Dropping off points near
the front door can sometimes be a problem to find. To reach the main front
door there are a set of 2 stone steps to ascend. There is a doorbell by the
front door. The front door is not automated.
On arrival via the
rear of the hotel
Access to
the rear of the Guest House and to our private car park is via St Paul's
Street. We provide enough car parking space for one medium sized car per
guest room. The car park is level and has a tarmac surface. At night sensor
lights are in operation which will cover the car park and the path to the
back door. The back door is reached via a paved path approximately 25 metres
long which passes through our back garden. (During the warmer months we
provide garden furniture for guests who wish to sit outside).
-
Access to the house
from the car park is either by 7 steps
with a
handrail on the left hand side
to the Patio doors or up a gentle slope to two steps by the front door.
-
The back
door is not automated.
-
We offer assistance
with luggage.
Please note that guests may have to wait for assistance with particularly
heavy items as not all members of staff can safely manage heavy lifting
